To all listeners of the Energy Transition Show:
I am hesitant to air disputes, but I am compelled to make a further statement about the end of the Energy Transition Show and my involvement with XE Network. XE Network has continued to communicate with subscribers in a manner that suggests I remain, or may remain, involved with the Show, and has released re-edited versions of earlier episodes as “new” episodes using my name.
Before they did so, I asked XE Network not to publish re-edited versions of earlier episodes as new Energy Transition Show episodes and not to represent or imply that I remain, or may remain, involved with the Show or Network. The releases and communications have continued despite my objections.
I am making this statement because the integrity of my work and the trust I have built with listeners are critically important to me. I want there to be no misunderstanding about which work I have created and approved, or about whether I remain involved with XE Network.
Before the relationship ended, I prepared and approved a final Episode 281. That episode has not been published. Instead, XE Network has released two programs labeled Episodes 281 and 282 that consist of re-edited and repackaged material from earlier episodes. I did not create, edit, approve, authorize, or participate in either release.
As you may be aware, I ended my contractual relationship with XE Network effective July 31, 2026. I publicly announced my departure on August 4 to advise listeners that I was no longer involved with XE Network, and where they could find my future work. XE had received written notice of the termination in June and was advised in advance that I intended to make a public announcement after they did not launch the final episode I prepared, which contained the termination announcement. My public statement was therefore not a “surprise” to XE.
To be clear, I have no ongoing involvement with XE Network or with any “new” episodes of the Energy Transition Show that it has released since July 31. Those releases should not be attributed to me or understood as having my approval. Nor do I intend to continue working with XE Network on Energy Transition Show development.
I stand by what I create. I cannot stand behind episodes that I did not create or approve, or permit them to be attributed to me without correcting the record.
The parties’ respective contractual and intellectual-property rights are now the subject of legal proceedings. I therefore cannot comment further on those disputed legal issues. Because I do not control XE Network’s communications with its members, I am providing this clarification through my own platform.
